The pitch: The well-paid producers of “Reaper,” “Gilmore Girls” and “Samantha Who?” think there’s humor in a show about a bunch of twentysomethings who lose their jobs.
Why we think they didn’t pick it up: It’s hard to find levity in unemployment levels not seen since the Great Depression (notice they didn’t call it the Great Hilarity). If the key to comedy is timing, these guys suck. As with “Cavemen” and “Big Shots,” ABC will likely deny this ill-conceived dud ever existed.

As a twenty-something searching desperately for a job, I don't think I need to watch a show that makes light of unemployment. Might have been funny...
