Since 1983, this Little Five Points theater has offered contemporary works during its five-play mainstage season, which includes more than 180 performances each year. The 175-seat theater also hosts the Horizon New South Play Festival annually, which features plays for, from or about the South. Through its Playwrighting Education programs, students and emerging playwrights can work with theater professionals, and the Horizon Senior Citizens Ensemble gives senior citizens the opportunity to develop, produce and perform plays about issues affecting seniors.
