The Nook on Piedmont Park
Located in the former Prince of Wales building, the Nook on Piedmont Park opened to the public on March 20. The menu ranges from appetizers like the smoked chicken wings, which are made with a spicy Coca-Cola barbecue sauce, and a hanger steak salad to the chicken wrap and the jambalaya. Of course, we fell immediately in love with the totchos (the word may look confusing, but this dish is simply tater tot nachos—genius!). They can be ordered redneck style (topped with barbecue and cheese sauce) or with Philly, Cajun or straight-up nacho toppings.
