If you're looking for a soul food restaurant that epitomizes Atlanta and the New South, then visit the Beautiful Restaurant. Open since 1979, the family-owned diner is named after Acts 3:2 in the Bible, and caters to families and churchgoers as well as professionals. The food is served in a buffet style, and range from T-bone steak and pork chops to its famous homemade biscuits. The restaurant was once open for late nights, too, but has since curtailed its operations to a reasonable breakfast, lunch and early and late dinner.
