The story goes,Clement Blanc opened Au Pied de Cochon in Paris to offer a good meal to his butcher shop staff.  It quickly became a place where working class dined alongside the aristrocrats.  Now, more than 60 years later, the Paris legend comes to Atlanta.  Focusing on traditional French cuisine, the food is simple and rich.  Amazing seafood platters, roast duck, and of course, escargots grace the menu.  The wines focus on French vintages of course, but a few international choices are available as well.  The restaurant is open 24 hours, in the fashion of the original Paris brasserie.  Step into the bar, known as "XO" and anjoy Jazz Tuesday through Saturday.  It also features extensive and impressive list of cognacs.
