Sometimes simplicity is the best inspiration. That’s certainly true with this low maintenance concoction. This little piece of liquid sophistication is achieved by squeezing an orange into a Tawny port (a style of port made with red wine) and simply heating it up before finishing it off with orange zesting and cardamom. Perfect for the calm after the storm, few drinks soothe out the weather blues like this one.
