This was not the Metromix Free Lunch to miss, especially for smoothie lovers ,and I missed it. Had I the slightest inkling that the Smoothie King was as much as a lunch, I would have been the first in line. Silly I thought that smoothies were reasonably priced. It never occured to me that one smoothie could cost over 5 bucks and that's a bargain. And to think when I was told that the smoothies were $1.99 for the rest of the day, I was thinking no big deal. That's until I ended up in Lawrenceville and needed relief from the heat and actually offered to buy someone else a Smoothie as well. Two smoothies were well over $10. They were good though. Now, I'm not saying I will be there all the time but the Smoothie King is quite good and having one in the neighborhood isn't a bad thing at all. I'll just be saving those pennies.
