Hidden behind the Variety Playhouse, El Myr is a small Mexican restaurant that serves good food and great drinks. Moderately priced, with a dark atmosphere, the wait staff is very attentive to the busy crowd. There is a juke box, the occasional DJ to spin records, and nice patio seating. Their drinks are strong so bring some friends to share a pitcher of their famous margaritas. It can get a bit smokey, but sit near the outdoors and you're sure to have a great experience. It's a great place to grab a bite before or after a show, just be mindful and patient as they do not split checks.
