Matsuri Japanese Restaurant, located on Ponce de
Leon at Glen Iris, actually has a nice ambiance for a shopping area
location. It’s a relatively large place
with hibachi style tables where fun and friendly chefs entertain or you can sit
at a regular table and order from the extensive menu where you’ll find a
delicious array of fresh sushi and sashimi.
The service is outstanding, very prompt and solicitous. The prices seem a bit high at first, but the
large portions more than make up for that.
If you aren’t faint of heart or taste buds, give the Wasabi Martini a
try. It’s especially good if you are
having sushi.
