Nucci's Italian Ice Cream and Gelato is a promising newcomer to the Marietta confection scene. It is part of a fast-growing chain of ice cream parlors launched in 2003 by Philadelphia entrepreneur Carmen Esposito. It has a tasty and healthy lunch menu that includes panini sandwiches like caprese (tomatoes and mozarella cheese) and salads. But it lives and dies on its Italian gelato, a rich and fruity ice cream served in cannolis and cookie cones and Italian ices served in cups.
