No, John, Paul, George nor Ringo have anything to do with it. The name, though, does beckon an explanation. It's inspired by a mid-life crisis and a Volkswagen Beetle, the kind notorious for breaking down but are nonetheless cute. The owner saw one with a 'For Sale' sign, bought it, then turned it into a mobile smoker with which to later launch a restaurant. And the locals are glad he did. Beetle's has since won a slew of awards. Occasionally there's live music.
