As authentic as any Irish Pub is going to be in Atlanta, James Joyce aims as high as its literary counterpart and does not quite reach the bar. But you will reach for the bar yourself in this laid back pub. Pictures of the writing giant dot the wall, soccer is almost always on the tube, and they might be nice enough to turn on the American football for you.  The menu of Irish bar food is a nice twist on the classics.
