To raise awareness and understanding for all those Americans coping with gluten intolerance, Matt Albertario, the chef at Wildfire, will host a gluten-free wine dinner Thursday, June 25. The special evening at Wildfire will kick off with a reception at 6:30 p.m., and dinner will begin promptly at 7 p.m. The $55 cost includes alcohol, tax and gratuity.

No crab for you: The bad news: P’cheen International Bistro & Pub’s wildly popular all-you-can-eat crab legs Wednesdays are no more. The good news: the special is being replaced by all-you-can-eat ribs night Wednesdays. No one like you when you’re crabby, anyway, so dig into the smoked baby backs from Mike LaSage, the sous chef/ barbecue fanatic at P'cheen. The ribs come with a choice of four sauces, including South Carolina mustard, North Carolina vinegar, Kansas City thick-n-sweet and pepper vinegar. The cost is $25. Buckets of Sessions Lager are available to wash it all down for $15.
P’cheen, located in the Old Fourth Ward, is a neighborhood favorite known for its extensive beer selection and international cuisine. The contemporary hot spot has a distinct local flare—walls are adorned with artwork from local artists and familiar faces can be spotted as guest DJs and up-and-coming indie bands perform weekly. Menu favorites include Guinness beer-battered fish and chips, the chef’s curry trio and a grilled Angus and portabella hamburger with harissa aioli and Wisconsin cheddar.
