Think you’re too old for traditional Halloween celebrations? Or maybe you need some liquid confidence in order to don a costume. Gerber Bars have you covered. Through Halloween night, Whiskey Blue and Whiskey Park are offering the Witches Brew cocktail, a haunting libation served in a 48-ounce goblet.
Meant for two, Witches Brew offers a way to dive right into the spirit of Halloween. The cocktail is a combination of Barardi Light, Meyers Rum, Bacardi 51, pineapple juice, orange juice, sour mix and grenadine. Served with worms (gummy worms, that is), this drink is one dare worth taking.

Boo Bash at RA Sushi: Before you stuff yourself with sugar on Halloween night, have some sushi. RA Sushi is celebrating this ghoulish night with Boo Bash, a party featuring horror movie theme songs, Halloween decorations, food and drink specials and a costume contest. Check it out from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Oct. 31.
The Boo Bites menu features the Creepy Cali Roll, Voodoo Roll and Spider Roll, which are all items from the regular sushi menu that have been renamed for the occasion. The Potent Potions menu, however, include new cocktails like Vampire’s Kiss, Bloody Brain and the Skullini. Costume contest winners will be announced at 10 p.m., so be sure to show up in your best Halloween attire in a timely manner. Winners will receive RA cash ($25-$100 gift cards)

El Taco's costume contest: If a Mexican-themed Halloween is your thing, head to the Original El Taco in Virginia-Highland on Oct. 31. Starting at 6 p.m., the Fifth Group restaurant will be holding an costume contest for adults. Those who come dressed up for dinner or drinks will have their picture taken for fan judging on the restaurant’s Facebook page. Winners will be announced Nov. 2. The first place prize is $100 dining card, while the second place winner will get a $50 dining card
The menu at El Taco features a selection of Mexican pizzas, tacos, fajitas and of course, chips, queso and guacamole. Sangria and margaritas are a must, and the frozen mojitos should get your Halloween off to a good start.

A beer dinner at Craft: Noteworthy, but unrelated to Halloween, Craft Atlanta will host a New York Beer Dinner Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. It will feature an autumn menu prepared by celebrity chef/owner Tom Colicchio and beer selected by Brooklyn Brewery Brewmaster Garrett Oliver. Up to 125 guests can take part in this unique five-course dining and drinking experience.
The menu includes of smoked hamachi with Matsutake mushrooms, Asian pear and onion seeds; roasted monkfish with flageolet and fennel sausage; pancetta-wrapped local pheasant with ragout of Kuri squash and mustard jus; stout-braised pork cheek with sauerkraut, quark ravioli and crackling gremolata; and apple-bacon ice cream with roasted apples and boiled peanuts.
