Cabbagetown’s Carroll Street Café is a great way to start a day with breakfast that is served from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. daily. The restaurant is brought to you by the same folks behind Aprés Diem, so the menu may look familiar. The lunch offerings feature sandwiches, pasta and tapas with many choices in each category, and the steak and fish entrees on the dinner menu are enticing as well. All should be followed by a trip to the outstanding pastry case. Carroll Street Café comfortably mixes old time flair with neighborhood charm and with monthly art openings, wine tasting nights and singer/songwriter nights, it’s an experience that should not be missed.
