Sophie's Uptown

Sophie’s Uptown was founded by Animal Rights activist and owner of Barking Hound Village and non-profit, Barking Hound Village Foundation Rescue, David York, as a dedication to his beloved dog and best friend, Sophie.

Sophie’s Uptown offers homemade bakery favorites, coffee, ice cream, sandwiches, salads and more, all in a great atmosphere. Customers can eat lunch and help homeless animals at the same time. 25 percent of all profits to local animal rescue organizations.  Customers can choose whether their contribution will go toward a new quarantine facility at the Fulton County Animal Shelter, spaying and neutering, or adoption and rescue.
