Really Good Burger

I went to McGurk's for a friends birthday party this past weekend, and considering I hadn't eaten, I figured I should have something before begining to drink. I ordered a burger and considering my past experiences I didn't expect it to be that good. I was throughly suprised. It was cooked to a perfect pink medium and tasted great. I may have to go back and order the same thing to see if this was an anomaly, but I was presently surprised this go around.

Great place when not busy

McGurk's has one of the best outdoor patios that you will find in St. Louis. Their food is good, but when they get busy things have a tendency to fall apart. I don't know if the previous posters were there during peak hours, but I have found that servers get overwhelmed by the amount of people they have the ability to serve. The place is huge. Nobody likes to be forgotten about. I just go early now and let others deal with the crowds.

CLOSED ONLY ON MONDAYS!

Great Dinner

My wife and I had dinner there in July 08. Great place to eat with great food. It is a little on the pricey side. They have great home made "chips" with a nice ranch dressing for dipping. Service was quick and professional with a happy waitress. Our food was cooked as ordered and came out quickly, which was surprising as the place was packed with customers and a wedding party. If you're tired of the main stream places like Roadhouse and Longhorn this is a great place to have some beef.

Dont waste your time

It was a bad experience overall and I wont be returning anytime soon. I think the waitress was on drugs and she seemed more concerned with her phone than refilling our drinks. Dont even waste your time.
