This
30-year-old diner in the red cinder block building is an Atlanta icon. Country breakfast and hot lunch is their
slogan with their sign proclaiming to all that they feature 21 different types
of biscuits. You walk in and read the
dry erase boards – that’s the menu, and you can basically have any kind of
breakfast you want. Although breakfast
is what they are most famous for, it’s so worth it to get there before they
close for the day to grab one of their meat and two lunches. Thursdays in particular are special because
they serve their famous squash casserole, which is to die for and packs in the
crowd. You can pretty much get it your
way here – southern comfort at its best.
