Soul Vegetarian, a holistic African Hebrew restaurant, is like an oasis amidst a bevy of fattening fast food shops. It serves lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, the latter two which are custom-made every day. The lunch menu includes Megedeem (vegan sandwiches served on a whole wheat bun) that can be augmented with Mierah (sauteed mushrooms and onions) and soy cheese. There's also a juice bar that includes fruit shakes, smoothies and wheatgrass.
