DavidHegle commented on Weird Al Yankovic, 'Christmas at Ground Zero'
I'm partial to Weird Al's "The Night Santa Went Crazy," with such classically cheerful lines as "Merry Christmas to all / Now you're all gonna die!" Those were good 10-year-old times.

Nobody wants this "Slam it down my throat constantly play it on the radio until all the teen's minds are brainwashed crap music" anymore. STOP.....(and AUTOTUNE SUCKS! - STOP USING IT!)
BuffyGill commented on Phish Festival 8: Day one
Five years really was a long time in waiting for phish to perform! They really got the vibe going for Halloween with their mind blowing acoustic set...it was amazing how crowds continued to multiply as the weekend progressed....I came across this amazing review that really summed up the performances well… Phish Festival 8 Review

How about - HEY 20-somethings..!! STOP TEXTING AND TALKING ON THE PHONE WHILE DRIVING - DOES IT TAKE KILLING SOMEONE BEFORE YOU REALIZE HOW DANGEROUS IT IS? OR DOES THE WORLD REVOLVE AROUND YOU?
cincioh commented on Hanson: grown up and gone indie
"But that doesn’t mean it’s been all rides in G5s and bottles of Cristal for the tight-knit trio" - What??!?!? This line makes no sense for this group - Maybe Jay-Z but no them.

Definitely Thriller!

I don't listen to much music, but KoRn's untitled album is creepy sounding, especially the intro.* *(There is a edited verson availlable in case there is kids at the party, but there is still some sexually themes (Like Liar. (I'm pretty sure at least, but one at least one of the songs is like that.))) Listen to it to know what to play by the minors.

I have been really enjoying both Atlas Sound, 'Logos' and Florence and the Machine, 'Lungs'. The former is beautiful and melodic, great for fall. The track, Shelia is a standout. And Florence is just a lot of fun, I think I liked the EP a bit more but 2 of the 4 tracks back it on the full length. She has an amazing voice.
saraht commented on Bob Dylan, 'Christmas in the Heart'
I heard a track from this album and it just feels wrong to have Dylan singing Christmas songs, even for charity- anyone buying it?

How could they leave out Oingo Boingo: Dead Man's Party? Poe's 'Haunted' is very atmospheric as well,..........because they have very very small musical expanse....they're told what to listen to, they don't explore.
jazilynngurl commented on Cobra Starship: good band gone bad

I just saw Franti at the Wiltern in LA ! He is such an incredible and talented artist. So amazing! The supporting band,Rey Fresco, reallllly knew how to rock the crowd. I was definitely diggin' them! I loved the harpist and I loved how the bassist was rocking out the whole time haha. I tihnk my favorite part of their performance was when they did their rendition of Buena Vista Social Club's classic song "Chan Chan". So good! If you havennt heard this band then you should for sure check them out on their website www.reyfresco.com They have a new album coming out soon and I am counting down the days!!! Franti+Rey Fresco= Best Concert in Life

Stop the presses on all those "Worst Album Covers" galleries... we have a new entry, ladies and gentlemen!
lisahi commented on David Archuleta, 'Christmas From the Heart'
Oh dude, I don't care if you don't dig the album (he's not everybody's cuppa), but at least listen to it. lol. This album has one pop song on it -- the last song. The rest are all traditionally-produced, full orchestra (real orchestra) classical Christmas tracks. That you even used the word "electro" in the mini-review kind of makes me giggle. There IS no electric anything--it's all unplugged strings and wind and percussion. And his voice couldn't be more unproduced. Haha. Were you just expecting a pop album and based this blurb on what you thought it would be? Or did somebody send to a really low quality copy? You win my "WTF" of the day. Congrats.
