The Candler Park event featured bands and food trucks
In 2011, the Midsummer Music and Food Fest took place at Candler Park. The annual event added a focus on street food, bringing Atlanta food trucks to the festival for its fourth year.
The band lineup featured Robert Randolph & The Family Band, JJ Grey & Mofro, Dr Dog, The Dirty Guv'Nahs and Ponderosa. Food trucks that served the crowd included Tex's Tacos, the Tamale Queen, the Pup Truck, Yumbii, the Good Food Truck, the Pickle, S&J Woodfired Pizzas, Sweet Auburn BBQ, Yum Yum Cupcake and Westside Creamery.
