Band of Horses, the Jayhawks and Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project played the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre
On April 2, 2011, Dave FM kicked off “Earth Month” with the Dave FM Earth Day Birthday concert at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in Alpharetta. Grammy-nominated Band of Horses was the headlining band. The newly reunited The Jayhawks and Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project also got a chance to rock the stage. Fans that donated an old pair of shoes or sneakers for the Nike ReUse-A-Shoe program received a discounted ticket for the show.
