This week’s concert picks could easily have originated in a galaxy far, far away with their sci-fi themes and cartoonish antics. But despite a couple of somewhat sophomoric band names and the seemingly adolescent nature of “Star Wars,” skateboarding and technological enslavement, these shows offer something serious for music and entertainment fans of many kinds. From the orchestral scores of John Williams to the thought-provoking lyricism of Saul Williams, there’s a lot more than musical performances at most of these shows.
