No matter what kind of music you like, there's a band playing in Atlanta this week that you'll want to see. Mention Unknown Hinson at the Earl and you're likely to see smiles, because people love this mysterious, but utterly brilliant musician. It looks like Christian heavy metal band Stryper has seemingly been given a second chance by the almighty, as headlining the Masquerade is evidence of an unlikely comeback. For bluegrass and Americana fans, Minnesota-based Trampled by Turtles is a real treat as, in many respects, it represents where the genre has been and where it’s heading. Local songwriter Tim Brantley has been making a name for himself. Rounding out this week's picks is Art Brut, typical of the Brit-pop sound and making waves across the pond.
