MMX Street Team: Little 5 and Magical Mystery Tour at Variety Playhouse
The MMX street team was on the move this weekend in Little 5 Points. It was a warm and humid Friday night and people were out to cool down with beers and spend time with their friends at their favorite watering holes. We decided to hit a few and see what was going on. Variety Playhouse hosted the Magical Mystery Tour, a Beatles cover band who rocked the house and gave everyone a taste of Beatlemania. Next door at The Five Spot, a popular spot for live local music, the evening was just getting underway. People there were pregaming with food and drinks and making plans for their evening. Across the street, we found people chilling out at the Euclid Ave Yacht Club, which had a more low key vibe of regulars that frequent this local favorite all the time. Front Page News had a live duo that entertained patrons sitting at the bar and enjoying the massive patio. We then hit the Brewhouse, another Little 5 points favorite, and they kept the night going into the wee hours with a packed outdoor patio and the best view of Little 5 traffic. We made it out alive and loved every minute of it. Little 5 Points rocks!
