Leonard Cohen announces new dates for Old Ideas tour

Leonard Cohen is taking his old ideas out on the road for another spin.

The singer/songwriter has just announced a second North American leg for his Old Ideas world tour. The new round of dates kicks off March 2 in Oakland and takes Cohen to New Orleans, Memphis and Louisville for his first performances in those cities.

Tickets go on sale Jan. 18 (10 a.m. local time). Here are his U.S. dates (Canadian dates at leonardcohen.com).

March 2: Oakland (Paramount Theatre)

March 13: Chicago (Chicago Theatre)

March 15: Milwaukee (Milwaukee Theatre)

March 18: Tampa (David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts-Carol Morsani Hall)

March 20: Miami (James L. Knight Center)

March 22: Atlanta (Fox Theatre)

March 24: Memphis (Orpheum Theatre)

March 28: New Orleans (Mahalia Jackson Theater)

March 30: Louisville (Palace Theatre)

April 2: Wallingford, Conn. (Toyota Oakdale Theatre)

April 6: New York (Radio City Music Hall)
