You are indeed a 'Throwback', Ms Michele, the type of artist i've been praying for for years now...r&b took a detour down route 66 and you're like the gps...guiding it back to where it needs to be. With your VOICE! Thank you, my love, you are appreciated...

Chrisette Michelle brings back a style, flavor and artistry that has not been heard since the days of Billie Holiday. I appreciate the fact that she can stand on her own vocals without the help of Pro Tools and the Mercury Bundle and she is not a screamer vocally. Her vocal phrases are purposefully spiced and she knows how to deliver a song. Whereas many artists step to the mic and just start singing, Chrisette is careful to give her listeners artistic ability and entertainment. At a time when hip hop is at an all high, she will have to work hard to reach the ears of fans as most of the TV shows who feature artists are more in tune with today's hip hop culture and less so with R&B and soul. I believe that her music will resonate more with a mature, wine drinking audience moreso than youngsters. I am looking forward to hearing her new project and wish her mucho success!
