WEAK! Our order: 15 teriyaki and 15 mild. Our cost: $21.18. What we received: 30 dry wings (aside from the teriyaki which had oily "sauce" on it). The mild wings had dry meat and very little flavor. The wings were tiny, at two inches each. They lacked flavor! We feel robbed...and sick from the oily wings! The only reason this place gets one star is because I couldn't write a review without any star rating. Just WEAK!

After 21 years in a restaurant that we have always gone to. Shocking is all I can say. We orderd for 4 of us. We only got soup, salads, & appetizers, this is Sakura Japanese Restaurant 4880 Lower Roswell Rd #130, Marietta, GA Parkaire Landing (770) 565-6369 We never got anything else & got the Bill for Every thing . We told them we never got what was ordered, we paid, but told them we will never be back after 21 years of loyalty. I don't know if the server served ours to someone else ,,, but we never got what we were made to pay for. Just saying things aren't the same there , be careful.Or you will have to pay for eating without being served your food. Be careful. Or just don't go at all . We have known Tim for many many years. We didn't get our food. We paid , we won't be back. if I am going to be Screwed , I will make it so worth it , I wonder if the $ was worth it to them. I'll get my satisfaction even if I have to be a "B" in others eyes, at least I am speaking the truth. I won't go down easy. that just wasn't right. I don't want my girls to take B.S. & I hope I show them when someone is nice I call & give praise to their boss, but screw me & I'l tell it too. I am woman hear me roar, we have been coming here before these owners & Tim were even the owners. We are long term ,,,,decades of loyalty. Tim even told us we had been served dinner ???? & He made us pay & we denied it , we after all were sitting at the sushi bar in front of him , & said if we pay we will never be back, something happened with tim, we have always eaten & paid never even complained if it was just fair or one time ,,,, it was bad,we never even complained then,,, but this is not acceptable, not at all. We never even got our food. This is so wrong. we will never go back, I honestly hope they close & that no one else is treated like this, it is robbery.

Stopped by to watch some bowling last night. A pin got stuck in the underground again and every one's bowling balls got stuck. Took about fifteen minutes to fix it. When it finally got fixed the manager decides to throw a pin from the ball return down the lane while a bowler was in his backswing on the next lane. Of course this a league and this freaked the bowler out. The manager walked off laughing. No reason to go to this establishment for anything.

The location is Buckhead treated their potential customers like crap. No Professionalism what so ever, No Management, they didn't wish to listen to our questions or concerns for clarification. When asked why not they simply said they will not listen to the Customers, only the Staff. The manager Erin was rude and before listening to anyone she immediately called security, the Hostess/Waitress Essie rudely told 'everyone to get up, she doesn't care we all must get up' and some other guy name Brent I'm not sure what his title was instigated and escalated the entire situation, Don't look for the Best Customer service here, look to be treated like crap..

Roll back the clock to 1997. It was the year that DVD players became commercially available for a mere $1000, Celine Dion won album of the year, and SOHO opened its doors in the Vinings Jubilee complex as a neighborhood gathering spot, a place to go for a great meal and a good time. Today, DVD players have changed to a Blu-Ray format, Mumford & Sons won this years album of the year, and SOHO has remained true to form for the past 16 years as the “Cheers of Vinings” where the staff and patrons are on first name basis basking in the moment. Named after the artsy SoHo District in New York City, owners Frank and Susan Smith have brought that New York-like classy, hip flair to their highly popular restaurant where newcomers are quickly treated as regulars. The cornerstone of SOHO is its outstanding Pan Asian-Nouveau American menu that is managed by the multi-talented Executive Chef Joe Ahn. As an equal to the food is the instant gratification from SOHO’s welcoming hospitality, and if I didn’t know better I would have thought its name was derived from Southern Hospitality. When a dish is listed on the menu for 16 years, I guess you consider it a house favorite. One of these “don’t you dare remove it from the menu” is the Chicken Tortilla Soup; yes a soup. No matter if you feel a bit sluggish from a cold or simply want something warm and comforting, Chef Ahn’s recipe is packed full of vigor and umami with chucks of shredded chicken in a rich homemade chicken stock that’s loaded with crisp tortilla chips, sweet corn, spicy chili peppers, zesty cilantro and tangy limes. If this doesn’t liven up the palate then the General Joey’s Calamari surely will. Tender morsels of squid are flash fired then tossed is an exhilarating ginger- soy glaze with diced Serrano pepper, garlic, and scallions - yum. As with the starters, there are several time-honored entrees that should not to be missed at least in this lifetime. One of these masterfully prepared dishes is the Chilean Sea Bass that has been seared to perfection that has a slight crisp coating that opens to pure lushness with its moist buttery texture. The lemongrass beurre blanc, ginger, and shallots gives this fish a thrilling taste and is served over a mound of forbidden rice with a side of sautéed baby bok choy. If your carnivore instincts need satisfying then either the Beef Short Ribs or the Elk Tenderloin will do the trick. The boneless Painted Hills short ribs are slow-cooked for 6 hours in a burgundy based braising and served with horseradish mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Whereas, the grilled New Zealand Elk Tenderloin is an explosion of rich exotic flavors without any gaminess and is dressed with a raspberry and Dijon marinade with a side of sweet potato gratin and haricot verts. These offerings re-define comfort, as they are absolutely stunning.

this place is dirty and dingy. the staff is too busy goofing off with each other to notice patrons' needs and often you have to wave your hand at them to even get them to come over even when you're sitting at the bar. they are really unwelcoming and unfriendly. gave this place a shot more than once and wasn't impressed either time. if you're a fan of backwards thinking types, you'll love it. otherwise, don't waste your time.

Went there tonight and ordered the salmon for my son but it was burnt tasting. When we complained the waiter offered to have it made afresh but returned the same burnt tasting meal; could not bring ourselves to eat it. Waiter took it away saying he would take it off the bill but when the bill came the salmon was still charged. We pointed it out and the poor waiter said we had to talk to his manager. Manager came and rudely told us that he himself had tasted both plates of salmon (the first and second) and neither was burnt. Fancy that, someone telling you how you should experience something; basically negating my experience. We had also ordered my daughter a chicken salad that never came; we asked why and the waiter claimed that although we mentioned it, we never confirmed it. We ended up manually subtracting the cost of the salmon - $18 - from the receipt and wait to see if they will challenge that. Shocking and bad experience overall. Don't know why that happened. We won't be back there for sure.

I had never been here before and let me tell you it was AWESOME! They had pool tables and any game you wanted to watch on TV. The food surprised me because it wasn't what you expected from a sports bar. Great service. I recommend this place for a night out or just a quick bite. Oh and the drinks were very well priced.

This occurred at the Cheshire Bridge Rd location. My mom and I are in Atlanta for a work function at the Airport Hilton. Last night at 7:12 we placed an order at this restaurant through Foodler. At 8:19 the driver, Travis called us to say that he was running late. We thanked him for letting us know. At 8:25 he called saying he couldn't find us. I told him I couldn't give him directions because we don't live here. Then he called at 8:54 saying he couldn't find us. We then called the restaurant. They said they would check and call us back. We called back at 9:20 because we hadn't heard back. At 9:37 the manager called back and told us to go eat somewhere else because we ordered from the wrong place. I told him that we had ordered through Foodler, who said they deliver to our hotel and that it was too late to order from somewhere else. He also told us we could come pick up the order. I told him I would not do this because I had paid a delivery fee an 30% tip. I told him I wanted a new made and brought to us. The manager said this would take an hour and I said this was fine. Then Travis called us back and told us he was bringing or original order. I told him we didn't want it because it had been in his car for over two hours and would be ice cold. We called the restaurant again and they said that they had already left with the second order. After 11PM Travis showed up with our original order. My mom asked him why he brought food that had been in his car since 8PM. He said that we said we wanted it. Travis was very rude and argumentative. I told him that the manager was supposed to make us a new order. Travis told us that the manager never intended to make us a new order and told him to bring the food he had. I asked him if the manager was lying or if he was. He said the manager was lying. He then told us we shouldn't have waited so long for our food and that it was our own fault. He then said that there other restaurants open and that we should just go to one of them. It was almost midnight by then and my mother and I are alone from out of state. This was the second time on of your employees told us to go somewhere else in the same order. This is by far the worst service I have ever received. As a business owner myself, I honestly can't believe that you are even still in business, much less with multiple locations if this is the way you treat your customers.

That is correct that the owner Paul did call one of the band members and agree to pay as promised after the fact. But as anyone can see by his argumentative tone below and giving his own place 5 stars he still hasn't corrected his rude personality. You can't fix or hide a lack of heart and kindness.

While the reviewer below was quick to come post his negative view over a misunderstanding between the band leader and the bar owner, I notice he has not been as quick to post the fact that the two spoke on Monday and that the band has been paid in full as agreed.

Alon's in Dunwoody has an incredible wine bar. No matter what your preferences are they always have something for you. In addition to the great wine selection, they also offer amazing craft beers. Check out the wine and beer selection to take home too. The prices are really competitive. Wine tastings are every month with paired artisan cheeses. They are always $20 and scheduled on the closest Thursday to the 15th of each month.

kelseymewb14 wrote about Blake's On The Park
blakes on the park is a staple in the atlanta LGBT community. I have been going to this bar for a couple of years. IN fact I frequent this bar so often I moved to my current apartment in order to be able to walk to blakes and have even gotten to know some of the bartenders personally. Over the summer of 2012 blakes changed owners and management. They had employees that had been there for YEARS leave because the integrity of the bar had changed. I guess it takes a little longer for that to be felt by the costumers. I have been "BAN FOR LIFE" from blakes simply because the NEW manager does not think that I should be able to hang out in this bar. He says I get drunk and I need to figure out my life and that maybe I have problems and that's why I am an alcoholic. Last time I checked, the Managers of bars are suppose to make sure the costumer is happy, not play doctor phil and treat me as though I have mental issues. He has also told me point blank that he does not like me. And has said he does not feel like letting me come back in. LITERALLY. THAT WAS HIS REASON. He also threatened to have me arrested if i ever step back on the property. He has caused me much emotional distress and it could very well be said he is "bullying" me. No one should be ban from a bar for life for any of the stated reasons. Obviously blakes does not value any of their coustmers loyalty at all. The manager is just trying to "flex his power". It doesnt matter that I use to be at blakes at least 2-3 times a week. He clearly doesnt value my money or my loyalty to his bar.

I came to watch my favorite football team play on Sunday afternoon and was treated in the worst way. The waitress took me to the area that was playing the ball game I requested. I was really enjoying the game after I had finished my meal, when the waitress decided she was not going to let me finish watching my team by going behind the DJ booth and changed the channel. When I went up to the DJ booth and asked the DJ to change the channel back to the game I was watching, he pointed to my waitress stooping down where the control center was telling me that it was broken. I don't believe that to be true, the game, she changed it to was playing fine. I am extremely angry about my experience there, so I had to tell everybody how trifling they are at that place. Just because it's a team you don't support, doesn't mean you can disrespect your customers in such a rude trifling way. I will never go there ever again! Faithfully, my team still won, but I would have liked to watch them win.
