What pays the bills? Owner, operator and bartender of this cool little joint in downtown, Elliott Street Deli & Pub

Describe your job: Well, it's not really a job, it's a lifestyle. I live and operate a pub in all one building. I walk downstairs to go to work in the pub and I walk upstairs to go home. I'm living the dream job.

Your passion project: Building Elliott Street Pub on the Pacific Ocean.

Where would you get “flashed” by Metromix? Social, a hidden gem in the city on West Peachtree Place, any of Kevin Rathbun's restaurants for a fine meal and every month for Castleberry Hill’s Art Stroll.

What’s next for you in 2009? Adding another floor and rooftop deck to my building and finishing out the basement of Elliott Street, soon to be The 51.

Where do you see yourself in five years? Sailing the oceans and seas of the world.

What is your favorite restaurant and why? There are so many in Atlanta. Burgers at Holeman & Finch, risotto at Rathbun's, the dry-aged steak at Rathbun's Steak and I can’t forget the excellent oysters at FAB, paired with some of the finest wines.

Who inspires you? My neighborhood of regulars that frequent my pub. They are some of the most brilliant people I have ever met.

What is an Atlanta event in 2009 that you will not miss? The Halloween party at B Complex. It was amazing last year. I will be sure to make it this year, too!!!
