Hill Harper of "CSI: NY" received the Lexus Pursuit of Perfection award in Atlanta
The Lexus Listening Lounge event series made another appearance in Atlanta, this time to honor actor, author and mentor Hill Harper with the Lexus Pursuit of Perfection Award. This prestigious award recognizes the career achievements of successful African Americans who have left an undeniable positive mark on the community around them.
The Award exemplifies Lexus’ commitment toward recognizing accomplished African Americans, and Harper is the perfect recipient. He is the author of three New York Times bestsellers: "Letters to a Young Brother," "Letters to a Young Sister" and "The Conversation." To date, his collective writing and acting work has been recognized with six NAACP Image Awards.
The evening's performer was platinum-selling, six-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and producer, Marsha Ambrosius. This invitation-only event provided an intimate setting for attendees to celebrate Hill Harper’s success and experience songs from Ambrosius’ newest album and debut as a solo artist, "Late Nights & Early Mornings." Ambrosius is well known for co-writing Michael Jackson's hit record "Butterfiles."
