The 'Dirty Birds' are back!
MMX was in the house to see the Falcons first victory. While the new red and black paint looked good, we're most impressed with the improvements on the inside of the Georgia Dome. Rookie Matt Ryan became the first quarterback in eight years to throw for a touchdown with his first pass making those late to the game, late for the show. Atlanta scored on its first three possessions for a 21-0 lead which kept fans on their feet. Michael Turner stole the spotlight as he rushed for a franchise-record 220 yards and found the end zone twice Sunday to lead the Atlanta Falcons to a 34-21 victory over the Detroit Lions. Not a bad way for Coach Mike Smith to make his debut.
