The "Sex and the City" author signed books for fans at a poolside party at the W Buckhead
"Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell came to Atlanta for a fabulous party for her latest book, "Summer and the City" on June 29, 2011. The event was held poolside at the W Atlanta-Buckhead and featured specialty cocktails made with Hpnotiq's Harmonie and a candy bar with treats like M&Ms, jelly beans and cake pops.
Plenty of dress-up props, like boas, wands and tiaras were worn by people getting their pictures taken in the old-fashioned photo booth. In nearby rooms, spa treatments like mini-manicures, eyebrow waxes and hand massages were available from Bliss Spa. Party favors included Hpnotiq Harmonie lip gloss and nail files.
Attendees received a copy of "Summer and the City," the second book in the Carrie Diaries series. Bushnell signed copies of the book throughout the evening and spent time talking one-on-one with each fan that approached her.-Rachael Mason, Metromix
