Joy Formidable
On July 6, 2011, Mayor Kasim Reed announced that Music Midtown is returning to Atlanta, which has long been without a music festival to call its own. The festival will take place on Sept. 24 at Piedmont Park.
Bands who will be performing during the day-long concert include the Black Keys, Coldplay and Manchester Orchestra. The lineup also includes the Constellations, Young the Giant, Band of Skulls and the Joy Formidable. Tickets will be $55 and are scheduled to go on sale on Saturday, July 16.
