The neighborhood hosted its annual parade and festival
On Oct. 22, 2011, thousands of Atlantans came to the Little Five Points Halloween Parade and Festival. Before the parade began at 4 p.m., spectators lined the route along Euclid and Moreland avenues, sometimes as many as five people deep.
Costumed participants dressed up, from gorgeous to gory, and marched in the parade as the crowd waved and screamed. Some traveled by elaborate float, some on foot and some via U-Haul. Whatever their method of moving along the parade route, it was clear that onlookers couldn't get enough of elaborate costumes, music and candy from the local businesses and community organizations that the floats and marchers represented. Participants included local haunted houses, salons, bars and more.
