The Toy Party
Atlanta’s Gay and Gay-friendly community collected toys and gift cards for Georgia’s children in need for the holiday season. The cost for admission to The Toy Party was an unwrapped new toy valued at $15 or more or a gift card which will be donated to the following North Georgia non-profit organizations that serve underprivileged youth: Hillside, Tobie Grant Manor, Sheltering Arms for Kids, CHRIS Kids, AID Atlanta’s Women’s and Pediatric Programs, YouthPride, Safe Path Children’s Advocacy Center, Atlanta Alliance on Developmental Disabilities (AADD), Jerusalem House, Easter Seals of North Georgia, Rainbow House, Cobb Christmas, Cross Roads Foundation / Forgotten Teens Holiday Program, Appalachian Children’s Emergency Shelter (ACES), Gwinnett Children’s Shelter, and Community Welcome House.
