Oysterfest

Despite overcast skies on Feb. 28, no one got washed away at OysterFest at Park Tavern. In fact, waves of people turned out for the event even though the skies were more gray than blue. The crowds enjoyed steamed oysters and fried oysters, as well as plenty of Guinness. Cracker, the band known for hits like “Low” and “Eurotrash Girl,” played at the event, as did Gringo Star and the Last Waltz Ensemble. With all the music, food and beer, most attendees didn’t give the weather a second thought.
