'Eastbound and Down' premiere party

There was a great turnout at Stats for the premiere party of the new HBO series "Eastbound and Down." The show, which was shot on location in North Carolina, stars Danny McBride as a washed-up major league pitcher who comes home to Shelby, N.C. and takes a job as a high school gym teacher. "Eastbound and Down" is the latest project from the production company operated by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay.
At Stats, people laughed out loud during as the hilarious premiere was shown and the laughs continued at the after party. Everybody responded like "Eastbound and Down" is going to be an all-star series.
The show makes its debut on HBO at 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 15. We're hoping this Southern-bred production hits a home run.
