Downtown Atlanta becomes 'Fantasyland'

Supercon descends upon Atlanta

Comic collectors, gamers, anime nuts: the annual Supercon convention has it all for these subcultures. Spanning all of last weekend, Supercon transformed the Downtown Renaissance hotel into a labyrinth of vendors, workshops and gaming stations. There were parties and elaborate costumes. There was an appearance from Brian O’Halloran, the hero of thrcult comedy classic "Clerks." Most of all, fantasy aficionados had a place to call home.
