When do we get the notifying emails? I know the Yappy Hour event has changed but what exactly is happening with the contest?

Hi Thanks for hosting this contest. My dog is in the top ten, but I haven't received an email since he was entered into the contest (e.g., letting me know that he was selected as a contestant, letting me know that he was in round one of voting). I'm just concerned that there may be somewhat of a communication error here. Thanks, Katye (my dog is Bailey)

I apologize if you are having difficulty with the contest. I can assure you the contest is not rigged. When the voting starts - and there are very few votes the percentages change quickly. If there are only 10 votes and your dog has 5 - it will indicate 50%. However, in this contest the dogs have been getting thousands of votes. The more total votes there are, the harder it is to change the percent. Also, the way the contest is set up - the percent will stay at zero until the dog has at least 1% of the vote (it will never say .5%). So if there are 1,000 total votes cast and a dog has less than 10 votes the percent will stay at 0%. If there are 5,000 votes the dog would need 50 votes to move the percent to 1%. I hope that explains the system. If anyone is concerned we can provide a list of the total votes each dog received in the finals at the conclusion of the contest.

I thought this contest and the voting procedure was one big convoluted mess. Percentages by the dogs names would fluctuate from 0 to 50% and go up and down between times I would look at the site. Whoever did this needs to take a few lessons. However, it may just be that it's a fixed contest. Anyway, it was very poorly done. And, No, I don't have a dog.

Group 4 names are not listed properly. There is not an option to vote for Parker.

Yeah! I think Morticia is a finalist! Or was there a dog named Mortitia?

How do we vote? Do we leave a comment to vote? And how do we know what dogs are in which group since all 100 are showing?
