Whether you’re a die-hard football fan who never misses a tailgate party, a nature enthusiast who enjoys seeing the leaves change color or just someone who is thankful that the weather has finally cooled off, you have to admit that fall is a pretty awesome season. It’s no wonder the coming weeks are packed with festivals that focus on the best autumn has to offer.

One of the highlights of the Fall calendar is the fifth annual Harvest Midtown on Oct. 4. This event, which takes place on 5th Street between Peachtree and West Peachtree streets, features both food and wine to please your palate, as well as plenty of entertainment. Admission is $50 in advance and $60 at the gate, while VIP admission that includes the Evening Edge party is $80 in advance and $90 at the gate.

Here are 10 reasons to check out Harvest Midtown:

The list of participating eateries includes Beleza, Cuerno, Dogwood, Dolce, Ecco, ENO, Geisha House, The Globe, Marlow’s, The Melting PotThe Oceanaire Seafood Room, Pozolé, Rathbun’s, The Real Chow Baby, Repast, Rosa Mexicano, South City Kitchen, Straits, Steel, The Sun Dial Restaurantand  Top Flr.

2. Try one—or more—of the more than 250 wines from around the world that will be served at the festival.

3. Better yet, buy some wine to take home from the Self-Sustaining, Organic and Biodynamic Vintners Market. These bottles are the products of harvests that you can’t help but feel good about.

7. Feel the rhythm with a flamenco dancing performance by Caló Gitano. You might even be inspired enough to take up this engaging dance yourself.

8. Of course, you might prefer to do a dance of your own to the music of  Reggie Hines and Rio Negro.

9. Stop by the “Hell’s Kitchen” booth for a chance at fame—or at least an opportunity to audition for the restaurant reality show that features Chef Gordon Ramsay. You’ll be able to sign up for the Atlanta casting call being held on Nov. 2 and 3.

10. Continue the fun at the VIP afterparty, which is being held at ENO. The Evening Edge Experience includes hors d’oeuvres, champagne, reserve label pours, a bocce ball tournament, a photography exhibition and live music from Blake Music Group.
