This exhibit was so informative. It takes you from nearly the beginning of Africans being brought over to the Americas to the present day. I went with my family and we all speechless at times as we saw the bench that MLK sat on while jailed in Alabama; the Klan outfits; the videos that displayed brutal beatings endured just for equality. At the end of the exhibit there is a silverlinig as President Obama is inaugurated as the President of this racist country. Please take time to see this exhibit or find out where it will go next that way you can book a flight and make it a 3-day weekend!
