This beach-inspired event in Midtown kicked off Memorial Day Weekend
People who stayed in Atlanta during Memorial Day Weekend 2011 could still party like they were at the beach at the Wish I Was in Destin Block Party. The event got started off at Flip Flops in Midtown and also included the Koo Koo Room, Tin Lizzie's Midtown and Sutra. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Nature Conservancy Gulf Coast Fund.
