Hand in Hand
Hand in Hand is a Virginia Highland authentic English pub. It is an equivalent of Fado as an Irish Pub. Good thing they are not next door to each other during World Cup. We would have to have the riot police stationed in the parking lot. What is next door, and all around, is Neighbors bar and the rest of the fantastic restaurants and bars in VA Highland. Hand in Hand is the perfect spot to start your evening out with a top quality English ale on their gorgeous outdoor semi-covered patio. It feels like a pub in the English countryside. Although the English are not known for their culinary superiority, Hand in Hand does an good job of dispensing that myth. The food is excellent. The beer selection is not mainstream and the bar and wait staff are courteous and friendly. Unlike the French. Oh, come on, just kidding. I love the French.
