The Cavern is a neighborhood watering hole in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood.  It is a small comfortable bar with a patio that is a must if you are a people watcher.  A large stone table in the middle of the bar is a must see.  The bar and kitchen are so close in proximity your bartender may also be your cook.  Several domestic and imported beers are complimented by a full service bar and Jager machine.  Stop in on Wednesdays for Mojito night.
