It’s no surprise that the downstairs bar is usually the first stop during an evening at Smith’s Olde Bar. Before checking out the bands upstairs, patrons take time to order from the large selection of draft and bottled beers or choose a cocktail. They also sample the full array of bar food that’s served downstairs. On the main stage upstairs, the bands reflect the varied sounds of the Southeast, with bluegrass, roots and rock music well represented. In the smaller Atlanta Room, singer-songwriters often take the spotlight.
