It doesn’t seem like a real Irish pub as it sits in the mature and slightly uppity VA Highlands, and maybe it’s not. What it is, though, is arguably the most solid bar in the trendy area. They serve the drinks up cheap and have all the imported favorites from the UK, and have one great Tuesday night open mic. You can even catch soccer here in the mornings. And free popcorn — beat that. That’s what I thought.
