The W Hotel Midtown has two beautiful bars; the hotel lobby bar, The Living Room and an upbeat lounge upstairs, Whiskey Park. Both bars offer a variety of mouth watering specialty cocktails served up by the best looking bartenders in Atlanta. The clientele ranges from business meetings to socialites, and its apparent that everyone is having a good time. On the weekends your guaranteed to be mingling with Atlanta's sexiest while receiving service that mirrors the W Hotels signature luxury brand.

In response to the first review, I called to check on this reservation nonsense and here's the story:

Whiskey Park opens at 8pm and serves drinks only - no food. If you want to arrive at 10pm or later, you must call and put your name on the VIP list, this is the reservation.
They only require a deposit if you want to reserve a VIP table. If you are there before 10pm and just stay, you don't have to have a reservation or a deposit.

Awful experience with Whiskey Park and I haven't even been inside!

I am pretty disappointed with the new Whiskey Park. Last weekend was my birthday weekend and had invited a group of friends to join me there for a drink or two. When we arrived we were told we had to have a reservation! For a bar? Really? Well we went elsewhere to celebrate. Today I called to set up this "reservation" to check it out next weekend - I was told I would have to leave a deposit of $75.00 for EACH guest in my party to ensure we spend a minimum of $75 EACH at the bar!??!! They have to be kidding. Who plans to go out and spend $75 on drinks in one night?
