Purple Rain Restaurant and Lounge

This new spot, located near Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner during the day and turns into a nightclub in the evening. Purple Rain opened in December 2010.

Breakfast choices include lobster Benedict, a banana-nutella French toast and a la carte items such as Georgia farm eggs and applewood-smoked bacon. Morning cocktails like Bloody Marys and bellinis are also served.

The lunch menu includes wings, tacos, soups and salads, as well as items like a lamb gyro and duck confit. Dinner options include a range of small plates, including pig ears and escargot, and larger plates, like shrimp and grits and a macadamia-crusted sea bass.

In the evenings, Purple Rain becomes a lounge, with DJs, live music and signature cocktails. The drink menu includes a tangerine-ginger mojito and the Sunset Margarita, which is made with Patron Reposado, Patron Citronge, fresh lime juice, agave nectar and a splash of guava juice. Happy hour eats and a late-night menu—with snacks like wings, tacos and sliders—are also available
