You know you must be doing something right if you can pack every Tuesday night at your club for 15 years running. That is exactly what DJ Romeo Cologne has done for the Star Bar. The Star Bar itself is a unique lounge type bar that has an Elvis shrine tucked away in a back room where you can kneel and pray to the man we all know as "The King." Other nights the Star Bar has all types of unique and diverse live music and the downstairs bar is something straight out of a David Lynch Twin Peaks episode. However, Tuesday night belongs to "The Funk!" The only problem with Funk night? The crowd does not arrive until late. In fact, don't even bother getting there until midnight or you may be dancing all by yourself. So, it makes it tough if you have to be at work th next morning However, once the crowd gets going, it's non-stop booty shakin' and sweatin' to all the classic funk of Rick James and Parliament, with classic dance club favorites and even a little disco, Michael Jackson and Prince thrown in there for fun. Once that groove hits you, you will find yourself out there on the dance floor funkin' it up with all the other hotties that are there to pay homage to the "The Funk."
