As a 29 yr old, my clubbing days are coming to an end. Through my 20's I've experienced many clubs all over the world, so I do enjoy trying new places/scenes. This place will not be around long, TRUST ME, and this is why... First off, the ambiance. Emo/Graffiti and trendy theme together, everything red and black? To be honest, just made me depressed.. Also it was very smoky, when are we going to ban smoking inside!! ... The music... Upstairs: Ghetto (Bass in yo face) rap....Downstairs: Johnny Cash/Folk music. (Very strange combo) The people... Young crowd, some trendy some ghetto. One thing I noticed everyone was not just drunk but trashed (or Coked up). I saw two fights and both involved chics! There were many pretty girls but were all just "fall down drunk" and a bit skanky( Guys, You are not going to find wife material here, Go to cosmo or Opera for that). I felt like I was just surrounded by a bunch of angry drunks who couldn't handle their liquor. Bartenders are slow and expensive. (I payed two different prices for the same type of drink) They also serve Pabst Blue ribbon tall boys and charge $8-10 for mixed drinks. 44, make up your mind who are you trying to cater to? (Just another reason this place will fail)...Anyway, Im not saying its horrible (Been to worse places) try it once then move on. If you are going to pay a cover to get in somewhere, I could think of way better places !
